For high school, I attended the Washington Waldorf School in Bethesda, MD. The Waldorf movement, founded by Rudolf Steiner, focuses on teaching the whole child. This involves a lot of craft education, from wood working to weaving, blacksmithing to stone carving, basketry to copper enameling.
